SISU_LINE #4 Naked Space

The spatial research magazine SISU–LINE #4 is based on the SISU symposium Naked Space (Luzern/Tallinn), discussing the possibility of changing space and architecture as a living organism. Eva Franch talks about personal, political and naked space, Juhan Rohtla and Tarmo Piirmets write about the transformation of an abandoned industrial building into a new learning environment. Fascinating new use projects are analyzed by Pascal Angehrn, Leon Lai and Nicolai Schlapps and Tom Bosschaert. Visual essays on the relationship between time and space through the eyes of Ülo Pikkov, Ella Raidel and Sander Saarmets. Eik Hermann systematizes the transformation of buildings in an academic context. The covers include master's projects of the Department of Interior Architecture of the Estonian Academy of Arts completed in 2017 - Oksana Hetman, Alina Nurmist, Kätlin Pesur and Andrea Tamm. How teaching methods and directions in the profession are being renewed, Graeme Brooker discusses this topic. Publishers: Estonian Academy of Arts, Faculty of Architecture and Estonian Association of Interior Architects. Graphic design: Stuudio Stuudio.
