MIDWAY

An immersive journey into human’s limbo between nature, our roots, and technology, our invention. Midway overlaps three real-time projections that represent three different temporalities: a microspcopic image of a leave, a live data-feed of X messages, and the visitors own shadows. By capturing and projecting real-time footage of data and nature, Midway invites the visitors to explore the sensation of being alienated between slow nature and accelerated technology and act as a mediator between them. The installation attempts to turn this unsettling feeling of existing in-between into a game of introspection.
